Plantar Fasciitis

RUNNING INJURIES

Plantar Fasciitis

Plantar fasciitis (PF) is condition that affects the bottom of the foot and results in inflammation and pain. Common symptoms include pain with the first few steps in the morning near the heel or arch of the foot, pain with running and pain while climbing stairs or toe-ing off.

Massage therapy addresses the tight and overused muscles associated with PF, as well as strengthens weak muscles, and provides appropriate homecare to help sufferers slowly return to running.
